Cyclist in 2007 paradeHoliday Extravaganza - Saturday, December 6th

Family activities kick-off at 5:00 PM with the city's 38th annual holiday parade winding north up Federal Hwy. Immediately following, the public is invited to enjoy the lighting ceremony of Boynton's 50 foot holiday tree at the Schoolhouse Children's Museum, followed by a FREE concert on Ocean Avenue by Grammy Award Winner Jon Secada at 7:00 PM.   • 6:30 PM - Holiday tree lighting ceremony at Schoolhouse Children's Museum.

12/12, Holiday Boat Parade - Join in the fun as the cities of Boynton Beach and Delray Beach present their annual Holiday Boat Parade. Festivities begin in the Boynton Beach Inlet at 6:30PM as a flotilla of brightly-decorated boats line up and motor south along the Intracoastal Waterway to Delray Beach. Parade viewing areas located throughout the parade route. Remember to help a child in need this holiday season! Please bring new, unwrapped toys for "Toys for Tots". Parking available at First Financial Plaza. Pets are not permitted. For more information, please call Boynton Beach CRA at 561-737-3256.

12/15, Art Connections - free monthly lecture series: Seeing vs. Thinking - 6 PM - 8 PM, City Library Program Room, 208 South Seacrest Blvd. Artist Ralph Papa discusses how our brain's right and left half hemispheres either enable us to see accurately or block us from seeing. Come listen, learn and be inspired to create!
